flooded with light

Our staircase has a lovely big window on the landing that floods with light - well when there is some. Today at 3.46 there it was and there was Sienna running up the stairs wearing her brother's school jumper - so yeah a blip moment!

However I did want to try to get some images outside and so on the way home from picking Zachary up from school, I detoured in the hope that there would be some inspiration in the countryside. The kids suggested the river (completely in deep shade), the cows about 1/2 mile away and the surf and turf mountain bike track whose sign was all we could see of it!

I dithered until Zachary helpfully pointed out that he thought blip was to represent my day and he felt that this was not normal and not at all representative of what I usually do. He suggested I went home!

So here we have it then a blip of Sienna in the house - looks like I am not breaking with tradition quite yet!!!
