Angel from Afar

I managed to jump out the car and quickly capture this shot on the way home from an appointment. It's been another grey gloomy day but the Angel still stands proud on the horizon. With a wingspan wider than a Boeing 767 it can be seen from miles around and is one of the north-east England's best known landmarks.
