The Race

Busy as today I really never got much of a chance to either get out with my camera or even think about getting out with my camera so when I finished work it was a great rush to get the blip for the day. I went for a wee walk down the street on a bleak cold night I didnt expect much and I wasnt disappointed. The as the tram was coming down the road I noticed how slow it was travelling and that the lady walking down the street was moving at the same pace as the tram.
Why is it that we are all inclined to take some form of transport in the inner city even though it is far faster and more efficent to just walk. In years gone by, really less than a generation, we never thought twice about walking miles to go to town now people moan about not getting a park right outside there intended destination. What will the next generation be like??????
