Not a Real Castle.

Just to prove that we had Sunshine today!!! Totally unexpected. but a welcome change. It has been so long since we had any sunshine, I was beginning to wonder if we would ever see it again.

When we had the drought a couple of years ago, I actually got fed up with seeing constant sunshine and clear blue skies, and enjoyed the odd cloudy day. But now I think we've all had enough rain.

We've been lucky here so far, a few roads cut off but nothing too significant. And although we dont live far from a river, we are on the top of a hill, so hopefully we will be okay.

Some people at work haven't been so lucky, and several of their family members had to be rescued from flooded houses.

Brisbane has been hit really hard, and my husband's company is expecting to go under tomorrow.

The next thing will be a shortage of food, but we are not panicking yet.

On the home front Neo seems to be getting better, he's not coughing as much,
he's eatinga lot, and racing around as if he's demented. Sophia just looks bemused most of the time.
