Patience

Love is patient - just as well sometimes!

Open revolt at the prospect of the return to swimming club tonight. They love swimming, they hate being told to swim up and down lanes as fast as they can twice a week. Fair enough. They are all good swimmers now so if they fall in the river (or,as happened last year, Eve decides to push Joe in the deep end of the pool) then they'll be OK.

Nature hates a vacuum though and there are now requests from the girls ranging from cross country running to piano lessons and street dance classes to fill the times they were going to swim class. Joe however is of the view that "I do football and Judo already so I want to sit on my arse a few nights a week". He's his Father's son.
