Oddball

"Come on, Mum, you can do this!" says #2 Daughter as we wander around a the entrance hall of a posh hotel. She was out with us for our usual Wednesday meet-up with her Aunt and Uncle. They were being driven home, we were waiting for The Man to come back and get us.

5 minutes in which to get a blip! Just shoot!

Snap! Snap! Snap! We felt a bit silly but we didn't care! It's so much easier when blippers work in pairs, there's strength in numbers. As we moved outinto the porch a young member of staff approached. Now we'll have to explain ourselves we thought!

"Were you in the group in the corner?" he asked. Had I left my gloves, I wondered. "Your bill is unpaid." he said. (This is when it is so useful to be on first name terms with the bar manager. We told the young man to go and ask him,) We soon convinced him that our tab was called The Clock Guys and was settled up with a generous tip!

He allowed us to leave. So this is it, an oddball blip of us beside the cloak stand in the hotel entrance trying to make a stealthy getaway!
