It is my first day using this journal, but it is also the first day of a new outlook I have on life. I am a fan of philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche. I decided to embrace his idea of Amor fati - "love of fate". To see positives in all aspects of life. Instead of being down on myself, I will instead embrace my past and future mistakes as signs of what not to do in life and use the wisdom I gain from them to better myself and motivate myself to correct those mistakes. So, here is to day one.
