Bishop Eton Woolton Liverpool

This is the third time I have tried to get this pic: the first two there was a service going on, to-day there were two people sitting quietly and I hope I didn't disturb them I took three shots as best I could.

I am not a church goer any more but sometimes take comfort in being able to meditate on various problems that beset us in our lives within the silent setting of a church.

It was perhaps fortuitous that I was able to get inside the church to-day, I was able to light two candles for my close friend's husband who is terminally ill and had had another bad turn two days ago; and sadly for the the family of a 13 year old boy who with his mother and younger brother were being swept away in the floods in Australia, Jordan begged the rescuers to save his brother first.
He and his mother were not saved being swept away before the rescuers got to them.
I only heard of this tragedy on the drive to the church; needless to say was affected by the selfless of the young Jordon.

Another wet dull day here but temperature is a hot 11c

Have a good day.
