It was a 'this' sort of day today

Took the dogs out the loch in the morning, trying out a Nikon D50, more for the weight, the size, how easy it is to take photos etc etc. Pretty grey and dreich and not much light, but hey, no snow and spaces inbetween the ice where I can actually walk without slipping, so it's all good.

Anyway, here's some clouds, sea and the War Memorial. Still undecided whether to go for a proper Digital SLR, or an updated point and shoot with a few extras 'kid on' DSRL like I have now. Trouble is, I like zoom...zoom is good with 2 dogs in tow, especially when taking bird photos! And, sometimes I'm just always awfully far away from what I want to photograph :)
