Boulangerie--Paris

This is a nearby bakery at the end of the afternoon--with a mirror between its two large windows that provided an opportunity for a self-portrait (of sorts, anyway). The day was dull with a bit of rain--but warm (15C!). The bakery does a large business at lunch, with sandwiches and even warm meals, when the small fridge with drinks comes in handy.

Behind me is the Place de l'Abbé Georges Hénocque (named after a chaplain and member of the resistance in WW II; he lived from 1870 to 1959). He was on one of the street signs with biographical details which I blipped last year. The "Place" is actually a small traffic circle (roundabout), in Paris's 13th arrondissement.

The bright strip at the left edge of the image is part of a newsstand.
