Icicle

Today is just plain cold. We've gotten quite a bit of snow here in New England this winter so far. This is an icicle hanging on a vine which runs up the side of our house and past the window, making this window very popular with the cats for bird watching.

I stayed in the house today because I semi-threw my back out over the weekend, and my doctor advised I give my low back a break. Let's just say between the gall bladder pain and now the low back/hip pain, I'm not a very happy camper at the moment, and feeling much older than my 37 years young. But I did finish putting in my grades for the fall semester and now I can go read a book for fun!
