Today's the day ...................... to drop into the Manor

Had to go to Clitheroe today - to give lunchtime talk to the local Rotary Club - as you do?! On the way there, dropped in for a cup of coffee at this incredible place.

Didn't have enough time to go and have a look round but will definitely have to go back sometime. It was built by the Southworth family in the 14th century and has had a very varied and interesting history up to the present day.

The scones and jam were pretty good too .................!
