Great day out.

I should have gone out with my daughter last week for a Birthday treat, but the weather held us back. However , today we made it to Chester. Had a great day shopping and having a leisurely lunch without children to watch over. Much as we love them she never gets much time away from them.
I couldn't believe how quiet the City was. Surely the VAT increase hasn't made THAT much difference. The shops were really quiet. Or, was it because it was so WARM? I wore the wrong coat and felt quite uncomfortable walking around in my Uggs. Hope this mild weather continues.
