frost bitten toes

It's been much milder today and there are only small piles of dirty snow scattered around now. The roads are shot to pieces and so it appears are these toes. Lovely lunch at the garden centre, Dad was in a great mood after 2 days of bowling had exhausted him into a long and deep night's sleep. Exercise, we told him, nature's best remedy. Mum was on good form too, after 2 days of alternative company. Absence, we told her, makes the heart grow fonder ;)
