Relaxation

Had a very relaxing day , no meandering across the country, just stayed at home relaxing with a good book and will probably relax with a glass of wine later. Apart from a lovely walk on a very dreich day , through the village and down to the shore with John and Oscar didn't do all that much.

After dinner looked around for something to photograph and my instrument collection caught my eye - could be the subject of the next few days if the weather stays dull. Music is a very relaxing hobby as well , hence the title.

So tonight it is the mandolin and a very intricate looking African stringed instrument . Have taught myself to play the mandolin ( very basic will need to find a teacher ) but the African one with the beautiful beading is very , very tricky , even my daughter and son in law, both music graduates couldn't get a tune which suits our western ears.
