the day that never arrived

We had no sign of daylight today - none at all. The sky was dark, the fog was thick and we certainly saw no evidence of sun...very confusing for a three year old who expected dinner at breakfast and questioned twice whether she was supposed to be getting ready for bed!

Thank you for your kind comments yesterday on my blip and my 'lovely" wall! As you already know DIY is not a fast moving thing in this house and so thanks to your encouragement I will now not stress about it and maximise its use as a backdrop again! Apparently it even could have been a wall in Asia due to the colours - well if we have few more dark days like today - I am thinking a SP in front of it might just be enough to trick me (and you maybe!) into thinking that I have swanned off to sunnier chimes!
