...and There was Light

aka The lights are on but no one's home :)

Mixed emotions tonight - so glad the girls are back, although Evie was so tired she was doing the whole, screaming and crying performance. Cheered her up ( and calmed her down ) with a couple of nice sticker books.

Any way, they were so excited to tell me they are off to daddy's new girlfriends house at the weekend!

With my most serene head on - I smile sweetly and say "That sounds lovely and lots of fun"

With my other not so serene head on I grimace and say....stuff that is not suitable for such a polite blog!

Anyway - not going to dwell on it. Funny thing is, I would love to meet someone, but I'm not ready to share my girls at all. Not looking for a father figure or someone to do family things with. I don't want to be seen as mum by a bloke anymore! And I quite like my little feminist house I'm running here!

Today's blip is Evies Doll house. It was very dark but I have fitted some lights (all by myself!)

It looks great and tonight the girls turned their bedroom light off and played with it for ages.

...and it cheered me up no end :)
