Catskills From Amtrak

I can't help but stare out the window for miles @ a time when I travel by Amtrak in Upstate NY. The train sometimes is aggravating with its lateness and slowness @ times but then I look back out the window and relax.

This is right around the town of Hudson, NY looking across the Hudson River towards the Catskill Mountains.

FYI, the black spots you see is dirt on the window and the blur on the bottom is encroaching trees, the train was goin a speedy 90 or so MPH @ this point, hard to get a good pic -- but I'm liking this one.
