Because ...

... the roads are terrible,
... we are getting more snow than we were supposed to,
... we didn't go to Kalamazoo for groceries,
... we therefore didn't go the Hatchery either,
... the Beloved is a sweet, sweet man who drove me around the lake to see if anything inspired me,
... hardly anything did,
... I quite like the atmosphere in this one,
... I don't want to think about photos the rest of the day,

ps. When I rule the world, I will make it snow on the trees, on the fields, on the lakes ... anywhere but the roads and sidewalks.
