Just a Nick

Went in for some blood tests today. My body handled the fasting very well, but my mind played some tricks in a dream or two last night--really, who dreams about accidentally nibbling on some cheese and struggling with finding another day to go to the doctor's?

Tonight, as I'm writing this, it's snowing again. They say it's going to be another blizzard like last week. Thankful to be out of Kansas, but unsure about how it would feel being snowed in again.
