The very act of exercising one's right to vote takes little over a second and consists of two strokes of a pencil ... and yet it's an act that, when repeated over and over again, thousands and thousands of times during the course of a day, can change people, councils, governments, nations ... and history.

A rather blunt pencil on a string is indeed mightier than the sword.
