Phaulacridium marginale

I was fortunate to spot this obliging fellow. He posed nicely, so long as I didn't try a face-on shot. He was less than 20mm long. Note the neat herringbone pattern on his thigh. Best seen large.

Thank you all for the lovely comments and wishes for my recovery. They have raised my spirits no end. The body, however, is lagging behind. Everything is an effort and I tire easily. I am doing light tasks, eating wholesome food, going for short walks around the garden, and resting when necessary. Small steps.
