Flooded Staverton.

First its snow.. now its floods.
Not on the scale of the horrendous Aussie floods, thankfully, but still an aggressive force to be reckoned with.
The river here was bubbling like a cauldron, as it tried to pass under the bridge at Staverton.

Although somehow, this makes what was once green pastures, look somehow serene and calm.. and perfectly normal...

I do wonder about the wildlife in the fields ...
