Do I have to eat the holes?

Years ago a friend of mine gave me a paper bag containing what they said were the "holes from Polo Mints". After thanking them for the gift you can imagine my surprise when I opened the bag and peered inside...

This would have made a great childhood story to tell the kids, but it happened when I was 21! At least I didn't pay for the "holes".

Now I'm off to the local science apparatus store for a long stand, then to a DIY shop for tartan paint and then finally shopping around for dehydrated water...

Something tells me I might be some time...
