My God, beauties all.

I hope they can work as good as they look.
The six girls from the college of Natural Resources in Lilongwe have arrived and started their work. They are pictured here with Charity, our director and Alinipher the farm manager in Lusangazi.

John,

The Natural Resources College students doing field practical work with Wells for Zoe.

On the picture from left to right;

Roselyn Mlomba - Irrigation, Sarah Phiri - Nutrition, Charity Amin W4Z, Victoria Hunga - Horticulture, Loveness Chakwantha - Agriculture, Alinipher Timbo W4Z, Beatrice Chinkonde - Environment and Vumilia Mvula - Environment.
They all went to Ekaiweni to have a talk with villagers about working with them in improving their village on agriculture.
In some of the discussions, the villagers agreed to;
Plant more trees in their village as a way of conserving the environment,
Plant citruses and more fruits
Improve the farming methods by planting nitrogen fixing plants in their fields to reduce the use of fertiliser.
Do more compost and many more.

The girls liked the village, they said the people were anxious, supportive, present and interested.

Looks like a great match. We will enable them to do the practical and they will bring an academic approach

The girls meet with representatives from 10 villages
