Stormy Weather . . . .

This morning Ollie and I went to check and feed the ponies, then on to the beach to get rid of some of the mud! Although the owners put field draiins in last year, the fields are still pretty muddy, especially round the gate, and the track leading up to them is only really accessible with 4 wheel drive, such is the depth of mud!

The fact that we have a SE storm force gale blowing and it is freezing cold meant that our walk on the beach was a pretty brisk affair! We both paddled, but Ollie did draw the line at swimming! It was bitterly cold! I should have taken a self portrait with all my warm and waterproof layers on - it would have done for the assignment!

While we were on the beach the heavens darkened and a voice . . . . No, not really! But it did get this dark and the heavens opened and we got soaked, again!
