I really must....

....stop worshiping technology, but this amazing, slimline box of tricks is just magic. It did a superb job for me today.

We performed our big tender presentation and although I was nervous, it went well and I started to enjoy myself as the session progressed. Everyone else performed well and we put on the best show possible. If we don't get the mandate, we were only there to make up the numbers and had no chance from the off.

I met up with my old boss as we came out of the client office. He bats for the enemy now, but I was genuinely pleased to see him; he's a good guy. We swapped numbers and promised to go for a pint some time.....we'll see.

Bumped into Uncle Leo in the lounge at Terminal 5 returning home to Edinburgh from another week in the smoke. Also bumped into Goldie; drum and bass DJ and unlikely Strictly Come Dancing competitor. I didn't have any power left in my iPhone, so he skipped-off without being caught on my sensor.

Busy day in the south and glad to be home.
