Juancito

This was taken in an orphanage in Leon, Nicaragua. We were there providing physical and occupational therapy to the children with disabilities. Juancito has severe cerebral palsy and we had just finished fabricating night splints to help with his increased muscle tone.

All of us who worked with Juancito connected with him on a spiritual level. Although unable to speak, he was able to tell us so much.

It was very difficult to say goodbye, but he will forever be in our hearts.
