Saturday morning manoeuvres

Due to the endless snow and ice dating back to November, being away for Christmas for 2 weeks but not taking the car and illness lasting over a week, it's been a very long time since I last drove my car. As a newby, that seems an awful long time not to be keeping my hand(s and feet) in, and long enough for all the confidence to disappear and be replaced with 'just past my test' nerves.

So when I came to drive in the new year, find I had a pancake-flat tyre - then fall ill before the garages opened again, I was somewhat peeved to lose another 2 weeks.

Fighting fit again now, and today's been my first opportunity to get out to a garage. New tyre in place and I'm very impressed with my tight spaced garage manoeuvres for it to happen. I haven't forgotten how to drive and I didn't die. Result.
