Empty Plinth Cavendish Square
This is the empty plinth in Cavendish Square London, to William Duke of Cumberland. The actual statue disappeared in the mid 19th Century.
Of course William was the victor of Culloden in 1745, son of George II, and known to history as "Butcher Cumberland".
