Stockton Heath County Secondary School

That was what it was called when I attended. We moved to this area as the school was being built and it had a Spitfire as a gate guardian. By the time I went, the Spit had gone but the engine had been cut to show interesting mechanical features and suitably painted and then mounted in a cradle under the practical wing stairs. I did have a look at my other school but it has been demolished to make room for a more practical building.
