Chiloe

Crap day yesterday, lan changed the flight times, so we ended up with a 6 hour wait at Punta Arenas airport, no blip as i´m not sure of the wisdom of getting the camera out at airports, especially ones that double up as military airfields!
We arrived late into Puerto Montt and couldn´t get a hire car. So taxi´d to Puerto Varas and recovered the day with a great hostel and fab meal.

Manged to sort car out this morning and drove down to Chiloe, stopped fro lunch by this beach. It´s an odd place, a bit run down and not what were expecting, but has a certain charm.

Visited a Magellanic Penguin colony which was great, yielded a lot of pictures of blurry penguins... telephoto lenses and boats are a tricky combination!
