Ruined Castle

Dunans Castle at the very top of Glendaruel was destroyed by fire in 2001. However the attached (and much older) house has been restored by the new owners, Charles & Sadie Dixon-Spain who run the Dunans Trust. This afternoon the incessant rain and leaden overcast skies seemed exactly right for this black and white study. The reality of the grounds in other weathers is , however, much more colourful !
