Window in the sky

A cloudy closeup. I adjusted the contrast on this shot to emphasise the shape and form.

It was such a beautiful sky last night, hung with thousands of stars and a beautiful low yellow moon. I went out onto the bow of the ship where it was dark and relatively quiet (just the ever present thrum of the engines in the background) and soaked up the sky and the gentle rush of water... a big grin on my face in the darkness. :-)

Was just listening to Smoke Faries. Love this song... and they are playing a concert in Newcastle when I get home... hurrah! I'll be booking my ticket tomorrow, anyone care to join me? :-)
