Something's afoot....

We visited The Tropical Zoo at Syon House near Isleworth today, an amazing children's Zoo full of wondrous reptiles, snakes, fish, frogs, hens, giant tortoises, rabbits, chinchillas, an owl, even a sloth, all of whom have been rescued!
The place is under threat due to a large Hotel complex that's being built, they are raising money and hoping to move to Hounslow later in the year, if you're nearby and haven't been or haven't been for a while, go and support them, it's fantastic!
The staff are passionate about the animals and the animal interaction sessions are amazing and a real education for the kids!
Here is Beckham the Giant Tortoise making short work of a snack of apple, courgette and carrot! his enormous foot put me in mind of Transformers!
