Treat
I met up with Jane to catch up over tea and cake, but our usual cafe was so busy that there were no seats for us. So, we ended up in a Chinese tea house and couldn't resist expanding our first tea-and-cake meeting to include dim sum and dessert (instead of cake - we didn't have cake, too!) It was a lovely treat to start the year.
My dessert (nearest) was a kind of New York cheesecake, raspberry sorbet and white chocolate mousse. Jane won the best dessert, though, and I had treats envy. It was a very coconutty affair.
I had a pot of blue tea, also known as oolong, from Taiwan. It wasn't too strong and was very pleasant to drink. I will be trying more blue teas in the future.
