Empty hearts

Our Swedish friends returned home today. Leo stood and started long after their car had disappeared. He told me that he just felt empty, that he had lost something.

We had a very close day, a kind and gentle day, as we shared the sadness and emptiness left by their departure. It was sad but it made us feel very close and aware of how much love their is in our lives.
