....said Katie as she launched herself at Mummy.

We wanted to get to the post office first thing, and then Katie was determined to walk some more, so we pottered round. Until we hit the play cafe. Then she wasnt interested in walking anymore. Ah well, free entry on Saturday, I didn't mind. She went round and round the soft play 'circuit' so many times! And ate a whole teacake and bowl of grapes, on top of the bowl of porridge and half apple she'd already eaten. There's always someone we know there so its nice to go and know there'll be friends of hers and people I can talk to as well.

After some lunch (yes, she ate again after all the breakfast items!) we went to collect our little friends Emma and James who we were watching for the afternoon. Katie was quite excited. On the way home, we bumped into an old school friend of mine (who doesnt live in our village) who'd decided spur of the moment to make the first visit to our house, for us to not be there! They stopped for about half an hour, then Katie went for her sleep. Emma and James played nicely. Katie was really pleased to see them still there when she got up.

We took them home before tea, which not too surprisingly, she wasnt that interested in! She had a very bouncy hour or so before her bath, charging round, playing All Fall Down, jumping on me, tickling both me and Monkey. She was such a happy little soul all day
