You can't get to the roof anymore. The landlord reckoned one of the bawabs was stealing stuff from it so he installed a lock. Quite what there was to steal up there is beyond me, but I suppose that is beside the point. This is the window on the way down, which I've blipped before, interestingly also during a time of extreme unhappiness.

Other than that, Black Ops and The Wire were the order of the day.

Black Ops is a load of shit, but the way the online community works these days is that you really must have the latest version if you want to be part of it.

Having never previously heard of The Wire, we were pretty transfixed with the whole thing. It blows every other TV show I've seen out the water, and is the benchmark that I now unfairly judge everything on.
