One of the neighbours

There's a guy just up the road from us who keeps a selection of wild birds. Not sure if this is a Kestrel or Falcon (my ornithology isn't that great), but it is often sitting perched in his front garden.

I've also seen him 'walking' the birds, balanced on his arm. There's a wonderful owl that I'll try to blip one day. I'm told that he's quite well known locally, and attends fairs and events with his feathered friends.

We've only been in our house 6 months, so I'm still getting used to seeing him strolling up the road while I'm walking the dog or going about my everyday activities.
