Training.

This is Alex, my work mate. Today was his second day of training on a new round for him, it's one I've known for about two years. After following me the day before and posting to every other house whilst I did the others (does that make sense?) today he got to do the round himself with me trailing behind like a lost puppy. He did a great job, so much so that he was able to deliver everything correctly without me having to give him directions. There are a couple of places where you have to turn down alleyways which you can easily miss.

Here Alex is unloading some more mail in the overweight box ready to put it in the delivery pouch so he can carry on with the round. There were about 10kgs of mail in there and we have to refill the delivery pouch around 7 times on this round.

And in case you are wondering, the discarded cigarette packet on the ground did not belong to either of us but I did pick it up and put it in the nearest bin.
