Ouch!

First day back into training for The Rovers since before Christmas and a 2 hour indoor session - it hurt!

With legs like lead at the end, we just managed to kick a ball about for a bit.

Carmondean Rovers FC were established 1985 and have played in various leagues from Armadale & District, Edinburgh Maybury, City of Edinburgh League etc. If my memory serves me right, I think I started playing with them in my early 20's, with a few league and cup trophies on the shelf, well in a box in the garage as Mrs F won't have them in the house.

Now knocking on the door of age 40 this year, picking up knocks easier and finding them harder to shake off, I think it's time to consider nailing the boots to the garage wall... Mmm maybe not!

A good Sunday roast will make the aches and pains go away.
