The IJselmeer is the biggest lake in the Netherlands. Actually, it is a fomer sea, the Zuiderzee. Since closed by the afsluitdijk, the Northeast corner is famous for its nipping ice. Sometimes meterss high!. This is the very last remaining ice, the temperatures are pretty high now and winter is already two weeks over.
