Oque Strada

This is the lead singer of Oque Strada, a Portuguese outfit that played I'm not sure what you would describe it as, but lots of genres of music with Portuguese, fado-type roots. She had an infectious impish charm that was really quite delightful.

Oque Strada were the support act for Senegalese singer Cheikh Lo, who was chilled and very cool. All part of the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow. Hmmm, a Senegalese Celt...?
