White Ibis

The Latin name of these wonderful birds is Eudocimus albus.

I was out by the small lake where I live, trying to capture some gulls in flight, but when this small flock of Ibis landed nearby and seemed curious, it was far easier to snap their photo than to try to get any of the gulls to slow down! When all was said and done, i loved this shot with the grass, the birds and the reflections in the water. Gulls another day.....
