Geraldine Picture Theatre
Today we said goodbye to our friends who were on the 4 WD trip, in which we travelled together from Timaru across the mountains of Central Otago to finish up in Wanaka.
Pancakes were on the menu for breakfast and it was a nice way to start the day again.
We travelled up over the Lindis Pass through Lake Tekapo and stopped for lunch at Geraldine. It was extremely hot, and with no Air Conditioning , and the windows down to make a breeze it is really tiring. Arrived home to find it was 34 degrees.
The best I could do in photography today was to show the old style picture theatre - they still exit in some of the country towns. They were showing up to date movies - ie 'The Girl Who Kicked the Hornets' Nest' - I have yet to see it. On my must do list.
If you care to look I have back blipped our days we went on the 4WD trip.
