Jelly fungus

Fungi were everywhere on our Lake Chabot hike today, including this jelly fungus. There were also a few flowers, such as flowering currant and a couple of Indian paintbrushes. Some plants such as soap root and sticky monkey were sprouting new leaves, and many plants had buds. I think that spring is on the way.
