Soaring

This "plaza cover" is as it appears. WAY UP! It is part of the Ontario College of Art and Design, an architecturally amazing and inspiring building just behind the Art Gallery of Ontario. (which has also been renovated recently) A roof top extends out and is "held" up by these long pencil like columns.

Walked past this building on a cold Sunday afternoon in Toronto and couldn't resist this capture as my blip for the day. Bright colours backed by blue. What change.

Spent the afternoon at the gallery. My favourite part was a small exhibit of notebooks left to the gallery by Betty Goodwin on her death in 2008. Love her work and it felt good to hang out with her thoughts, sketches and scribbling for an hour.
