Champion...

... or in the Yorkshire sense of the word, excellent ~ that's what this site is. In the last two years I've met (actually or virtually) so many wonderful unique yet essentially ordinary people, seeing glimpses of their lives and the parts of the world they live in, on a daily basis. I think we're all champions here, and deserve to take a bow, each of us, for contributing our own little sliver of originality to this excellent resource. Thanks to the originating team, to my many friends on here and to anyone who has ever taken a peek at my journal and either been terminally irritated (likely) or hopefully occasionally entertained by my petty daily activities and concerns, just as I'm fascinated in turn by all yours.

When Anne Kingston introduced me to Blip in 2009 I never expected to still be here two years later, and without missing a single day! I've never kept up a hobby for so long nor so religiously, which demonstrates the power of the Blip addiction. I was tempted to do an SP today, but I did a partial one yesterday and there's a limit to that sort of thing, of which last year's shot is a disgusting example. Instead this is the result of an experimental treatment of a bunch of flowers as guided by Leo, who is an expert on such matters. Sing along, folks:
