White Central Park

Caught up with my cousins who live and work in Manhattan. Walked around a windy city, with snow piled over sidewalks and a grey sky intermittently visible. The number and the sheer size of the skyscrapers is overwhelming and the architecture of a fascinating variety, mirroring the history of the city. There is no shortage of things to do or see. I could almost see this quote come to life as I walked through. There would be so many stories in each corner of Manhattan, it would be quite a treat to walk through streets dynamic like these on a daily basis.

For anyone visiting the area, I would highly recommend the (dark) hot chocolate from The City Bakery. It is unforgettable.

Loads of sight-seeing and catching up with cousins filled the day, both mine and S's. Put up for the night at Queens.
